Even as King Taryan's troops pursued him, Imhal, the warrior, found himself trapped between the relentless forces of King Taryan. The city's Kisra troops, accompanying Princess Lamirat's body, readied their weapons as Imhal approached with sword and shield, seemingly intent on escape.
Imhal halted upon reaching them, declaring, "I have not come to fight; I only wish to see Princess Lamirat's body." King Gurzalu, angered by this request, approached Imhal and sternly replied, stating that no one had the authority to view the body without the king's order.
Impatient, Imhal initially turned away but suddenly pivoted, launching himself towards King Gurzalu. With a powerful blow to the chest, Imhal sent the king sprawling to the ground, causing him to convulse in pain.
As Imhal stood before King Gurzalu, the latter's eyes welled with tears. Accusing Imhal of killing his daughter, King Gurzalu vowed revenge, intensifying the enmity between them.
Confused and shocked, Imhal was surrounded by King Taryan's troops, who closed in on him. They engaged in a skirmish, eventually reaching the arena, with King Gurzalu following suit, his gaze fixed on the unfolding events.
The arena, brimming with spectators from all walks of life, was notably crowded, attracting attention even from those on the walls. The absence of King Gurzalu perplexed King Taryan, who sent a messenger to inquire about his whereabouts. Upon King Gurzalu's arrival, accompanied by his army and Imhal, the field erupted in cheers, drums, and chants.
As King Gurzalu joined King Taryan, Imhal took center stage in the arena, marking the commencement of the competition. Anticipation filled the air as spectators eagerly awaited the entrance of the hero who would confront Imhal in the fourth round.
For ninety-two seconds, silence reigned until Marrasu emerged, wielding two machetes and walking with a commanding presence. The spectators, initially shocked and fearful, gradually calmed upon noticing a prominent scar on Marrasu's neck. However, the revelation unsettled those who had bet on Imhal, as Marrasu's intimidating physical presence sparked a sense of unease, even in the seasoned warrior himself. Marrasu, known as a lion for his robust physique, instilled a sense of fear and awe among the onlookers, setting the stage for an intense showdown in the competition.
